Business and Industry Program

The purpose of the Business and Industry Program is to provide students with a foundation of knowledge and technically oriented experiences in the study of the applications of technology and its effect upon our lives and the selection of an occupation. The program focuses on transferable employability skills that stress understanding and competence.

Courses in this discipline help students to develop the ability to calculate, make important observations, analyze and solve problems using manipulative skills while working cooperatively with others in a team. The courses also help students develop their problem-solving skills and creativity while learning about technology and careers.
